  1. Holy shit. Wouldn’t have thought that they were that accurate.

We are getting closer to divsion. Later on they will spew out fire and drop heal packs onto ally.

Imagine having a rifle equipped drone fly in through your window of the building you thought your team was safer from drones in.

This would be useful for delivering ammunition and replacement weaponry if they fail.

    “Rifle has been compromised!”
    -buzz-
    “Thanks drone delivery system”

Looks nice. Needs semi-auto weapon and calibration. Lose the plastic ties, 3d print some stuff.

  5. Surely tech has advanced enough to where a Auto hone in on infra-red targeted firearm can be adapted to a drone?

EDIT: It’d probably overstep the rules of engagement or something similar .

Not nearly as effective as strapping an RPG warhead to it. Especially with only 30 rounds of pretty inaccurate fire. This of course is a rough example of what’s to come but it certainly going this direction.

  7. Remember early on in the invasion, the early drone grenade variants, how they evolved and improved, and increased in size and deadliness to what they are now. Makes me wonder if we are seeing the early stages of a new direction for drone warfare.

  8. It’s big , loud , unwieldy , inaccurate, unable to reload , ineffective , the range will be poor , if there lag it’s pointless , but hey it’s cheap

It’s all well and good on the battlefield.
An absolutely terrifying idea in the wrong hands.

I would think it would still be better to drop something or have it be a fpv drone. I suppose it’s good to have options, but if you can see someone to shoot at them, you can see them to drop something on them. You’re going to get a lot less range carrying an AK around. Maybe it could be useful as a harassing technique. I don’t know how limited other types of ammo are, but bullets are going to be more plentiful, you could have drones constantly attacking and returning to reload. Especially if you could program in a route and where to fire, even if you done hit anything most of the time you’re going cause a lot of stress if the enemy is under constant fire. Perhaps anther advance would be some kind of AI where the drone shoots at anything that moves or is person shaped. So not completely discounting the idea, as it stands it doesn’t really seem like a step up from current drones.
