Trump once mocked Biden for campaigning from home. Now he’s sticking to safe spaces

  1. He just wants to be close to his first wife, who he buried on his golf course for some reason.

  2. I cannot believe the timeline we’ve stumbled into.

It’s been a little over three weeks, and each day I wake up to a world where the felon and his couch-humping sycophant keep discovering more ways to kneecap their campaign. It’s incredible.

Not to mention that the dems now have a ticket that is more than capable of kicking ass, as well as an increasing amount of support across the country.

Hopefully we can ride these vibes all the way to November and put and end to the MAGAcel movement once and for all.

  3. He was stung and embarrassed by photos showing his rally and then photos showing Harris’ rally in the exact same venue just a week later. This happened twice already. Harris’ rallies were packed to the rafters, with people outside having to be turned away. Trump’s rallies showed a lot of empty seats, very easy to spot with their baby blue colors, and even entire sections roped off that Trump could not fill. It hit him hard, that is why he made up the absolutely crazy and unhinged lie that Harris’ rally pictures were AI doctored and there was “nobody there.”

Just yesterday he braved another rally, and it didn’t go well. The Asheville, NC Cheyenne Center has two halls, one holds 7,600 people, the other holds 2,400. As demand for those free tickets was slow and muted they were forced to forego the 7,400 seat venue and had to go with the small 2,400 auditorium. And that didn’t even fill to capacity.

Trump isn’t packing them in anymore and he is green with envy at the massive rallies Harris is having. He is afraid to schedule rallies that don’t fill up and that is why he is not having any large rallies right now.

That “press conference” he had today was a total safe space MAGA love fest with safe scripted questions. And he still managed to ramble and lie even though he literally had his notebook in front of him that he was reading out of to keep himself on script.

Trump has health problems from being shot at.

There’s nothing wrong with struggling after almost dying. But the dude is NOT getting the help he needs and he’s pretending like it isn’t a big deal.

The media needs to hammer that home like they did with Biden and his fitness.

Trump is not fit to lead, but to be fair he never was fit to begin with. Everything that has happened so far in this campaign proves Trump has to drop out.

    “That’s me in the corner”
    “That’s me in the spotlight”
    “Faking my religion.”

His crowds are shrinking, so he now has two fears: (1) getting embarrassed by a small crowd and (2) getting shot. Home is safer.

  8. In this photo you can see him doing the sketch-ass half shrug he does every time hes about to go off on a tangent and throw made-up stats and figures to make an imaginary point.

  9. From the White House?

Also just curious, but where did the usual suspects go? Mike Johnson, large Marge?

What’s up with all the Trump articles from the UK? Do they not have anything going on? They seem obsessed with Trump

  11. He once mocked a reporter for being special needs too but the irony is strong with this guy.

He probably gets lost when he leaves home. Happens to a lot of old people suffering from cognitive impairment

  13. The dude is 78 years old and is the oldest presidential nominee ever. The convicted felons’ speeches are a meandering mess of incoherence now. He’s having trouble finishing sentences now, I can’t imagine he can even finish 4 more years.

  14. Everything comes full circle with this guy.

Next week he’ll tell you he’s the only one who’s ever campaigned from home.

Trump still gets outsized media coverage and is still broadly treated by the media as the main character of the election. So he probably has a wider threshold for when hiding might hurt him.

  16. Since we’re saying what everyone is scared about. Is he scared of getting crowd size compared?

  17. Well it isn’t the deadliest pandemic in a century and doesn’t have presidential duties to ignore so why would he bother actively campaigning

  18. I like how the backdrop of a speech about high consumer prices was held at a private country club.

  19. I honestly think he might be shook over the assassination attempt

He’s a billionaire with a nice life, this shit ain’t worth dying over

  20. Also cheap spaces since he doesn’t have to pay 10’s of thousands of dollars up front to use them/isn’t dodging bill collectors every time he lands his plane.

  21. The assassination attempt likely messed up his psyche to some degree. That kind of thing can change a person.

I don’t like him but I think it’s important to try to understand what is happening in a broader context if possible.

If you believe in karma or some form of it, this seems like a pretty ironic and fitting punishment. Death would be too easy, and would make him a martyr. Instead he is losing his mind, bit by bit, as everything comes crashing down around him. All in ways that any malignant narcissist would be unable to handle.

He also, in 2016, promoted information hacked by foreign adversaries and is now saying that media shouldn’t report information hacked by foreign adversaries

  24. Trump is only speaking about his fear: his opponent in this race. He’s not talking about politics itself. For me that shows how self centered the guy is.
