The agency has focused on some of the sectors considered most at risk: construction sites (457 companies inspected), road construction sites (70 companies), agriculture (181 companies) and the horticultural sector (28 companies).
Among the most significant violations we find the failure to assess the microclimate risk, the failure to verify the suitability of the Pos (Safety Operations Plan) to the Psc (Safety and Coordination Plan) by the client and the failure to provide workers with specific protection measures against atmospheric influences.
Failure to assess microclimate risk provides for a fine of €1,423.83 to €2,847.69. Failure to verify the suitability of the POS for the PSC by the client provides for arrest from three to six months or a fine of €3,559.60 to €9,112.57. Failure to provide workers with specific protection measures against atmospheric influences provides for a penalty of arrest of up to two months or a fine of €711.92 to €2,847.69.
In the most serious cases, 143 judicial police orders were issued pursuant to art. 55 of the criminal procedure code, which requires police officers to prevent the ascertained crimes from being brought to further consequences, aimed at suspending the activity.
