Look, I don’t know Trump personally and I’ll freely admit that it’s problematic to try and diagnose someone through a computer screen. But I’d bet almost anything that he’s watching it over and over so he can revel in it. That was the one moment where, at least from a shallow glance, he was exactly the big strong hero that he has always insisted he was, and ghoulishly it was also the last time anything went his way. That was his peak, but instead of paving his way to the White House he’s tumbled ass over tea kettle into failure after abject failure.
