  1. Good. Glad to see big money can’t take every seat it wants. Especially when this one would’ve gone to a right winger posing as a Democrat.

She was more popular and had much better constituent services than Cori Bush or Jamal Bowman did, that’s why no outside money could unseat her

Ilhan is a fighter, and despite most of her bills never getting anywhere, she’s put real work into legislating. She also works hard in committee and has a great online presence. Her perspective might seem harsh to some but she’s an important perspective to have in our government.

  4. Just a reminder that she once tweeted this: “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel”

She’s an antisemite using classic antisemitic tropes. Sad she’s still in congress.

Shocked she won tbh. Feels like every single progressive not named AOC was toast this election.

  6. This what I meant by saying biden would win. Everyone didn’t think so due to the polls but Omar had baggage as well and she won despite all the naysayers. Kamala is going to win by a landslide!!

  7. Voted down the infrastructure bill and still got re-elected, much to the chagrin of the some of the commenters here

  8. I’m relieved. Not going to lie.

This is case example for how progressives can run their campaign and not being defeated by AIPAC and other big money interests.

Greatest news I’ve heard all day.

She’s a real one & democrats would do well to keep her around.

  10. Boy am I still just disturbed how hard the corporate Dems are working against any squad members

  11. Her father helped commit a genocide that has a higher body count than the war in Gaza currently does, and she parades him around the campaign trail instead of turning him in to face justice. It’s disgusting that we let this woman into our highest legislative body.

It’s a shame. It’s alright, we still have 2026. Tlaib and Omar don’t belong in Congress.
