    Since this isn’t caused by a billionaire through his satellite constellation, don’t expect anyone to care.

    Just imagine having your outdoor lighting covered in a way it can’t shine upwards, or dimming streetlights at night or having to pay a few dollars extra for those cute light strings in the garden so they come with covers and only shine down and to the sides…

    Oh, the humanity, consider what you’re asking!

  3. “Before the parabolic explosion of development, the Milky Way was visible from central Paris.” 100 years ago doesn’t sound like too big of a number, and therefore not that long ago, but from a development perspective, it’s far more significant.
