Shame that the watchdog had to get involved, but consumers need to be refunded. Otherwise everyone and their mother would be setting up festivals and events and then cancelling a week beforehand.

Edit: I am talking about the organisers – Obviously. What they have done is a great way to kill any chance of the festival ever happening.

Went the first year, was a bit of a shit show but some great ideas like the trad techno church and the wild West area had some great gigs.
James Bay was incredible but it was a very bad sign when James Morrison ‘pulled out’ late and Jenny Greene got bumped to headline the last night. Like a DJ headlining really should be a last resort unless it’s a dance festival people are willingly going to.

No way, festival owners and organisers being pricks??? Write me a new one ALL of then are, in fact 90% of gig runners are wankers. I know a lot of people in “the biz” never liked any of them, authoritarian as fuck.

So the organiser has to pay the hundreds of thousands that they owe to people who purchased and stakeholders or they may face a fine of up to €4000?
