That didn’t look as promising as the heat, which looked very good.
Still hopeful she could get a medal, but I think Naser, Paulino and Kaczmarek all looked better in the SFs, particularly the first two.

Weird results from all the heats. Adeleke remains an outside chance for bronze but she will need a PB or for someone to have a bad race. It’s possible though.

I think Rhasidat looked a bit nervous. Hopefully she’s does well in the final. She is a wonderful talent and a great ambassador for Ireland.

Job done and done well. She didn’t hit top speed but she didn’t need to. I think she was probably just keeping something in the tank for Friday. This wasn’t about winning, just qualifying.
That said the false start may not have helped. What in the world was Klaver playing at?

In the interview she said she was nervous and panicked a bit. Went off her game plan and broke form too early. She knows what she did wrong so she just needs to improve on that now

Willing her to the finish line. Seemed to tie up in the final 100 a bit. Fingers crossed for the final but I wouldn’t be surprised if there are a few faster. She’s still a star

There’s so very very good athletes in this event and Paulina showed the gold is hers to lose
