I have never seen such a bad logo as that of the Kastrati group or Kastrati-oil, a large oil company.
What exactly does this logo mean?
What does the goat’s head on a hat mean and why does it look so badly drawn, as if it had been drawn by a child? Why, for example, are there only three squiggles at the bottom instead of four and much more.
What does this logo mean and how is it to interprete?
From a marketing perspective, it looks terrible.

They’re a wannabe Kastrioti.
The logo resembles the famous crown of Skanderbeg.
The drawing style is supposed to resemble some ancient / medieval style of drawing.
Kastrati is the last name of the founder of the company but also it has connections to the last name of the national hero of albania “Gjergj Kastrioti”. The logo is also derived from Gjergj Kastrioti because of almost all depictions of him show him wearing a helmet with a goats head on it.

so ignorant and yet so judgmental
It’s an Albanian cultural/national meme. Even if it had the vague outline of a hat and goat’s head on top it would have been understood by Albanians. The meaning comes from Scanderbeg, but originally from Alexander the Great who unsurprisingly is very often depicted with ram’s horns on his head.

…meaning is God or God-like.
They use the goat as the Skënderbeu in order to be seen as patriotic and not related to Serbian mafia (which they are)
The Kastrati tribe is presumably a descendant of Gjergj Kastrioti’s tribe it’s interesting how during the Kosovo war some serbian paramilitary group wanted to kill some people and then a serbian with the surname Kastratovic saved them claiming to be from the same tribe,
I know that’s off topic but it kinda blew my mind
It has to do with Cllevio Serbiano
Skenderbeu

Goat
It‘s true that it looks very low effort. Contrary to their logo design, the Kastrati Group is one of the most influential private companies in the country. They are concession holders of important infrastructure hubs like Tirana Airport.
I guess at some point you become so powerful that you couldn‘t care less about your logo.
No intention of being insulting: Castrati in Italian means-a man that has been castrated. When I first saw “Kastrati” on a gas station I couldn’t help but think: “who would ever name their company man who’s been castrated?”
To serve as a reminder for graphic designers that the bad version always gets chosen by the client
Like they give a shit, they dont really beed marketing when they own half of albania
