I don’t know anything about the sizes of these two things but are they in the same scale?

I was there, it was seriously one of the most incredible outdoor multimedia presentations I’ve ever seen. The projections were amazing, the sound was incredible, the mall was completely filled with people. in addition to the projection on the monument, they had two huge projector screens on each side that were showing other video and things. And afterwards we went over to the air and space Museum and they “dropped the boot” (a giant balloon moon boot) at the right time, like how they drop the ball at midnight on new years. It was amazing being around so many people who really cared about this stuff. Honestly can’t believe it was five years ago already.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve only been to the Houston space center to visit. Loved all the stuff on display there.
