Couldn’t sleep so I made a compilation of how the costs of dental care have skyrocketed. Excuse the somewhat lavish table. Looking for a dentist that posts the price on the website so I could use the waybackmachine to compare the history.
It can also be stated that the insurance fund’s reference prices did not follow at all. For example. If you look at the price list for FTV in Stockholm, the price is on average 20% higher than Försäkringskassan’s reference price. Ref prices for 2025 are 4-5% higher than 2024.
Maybe a dentist or FK can explain why the ref price lags so much.
In 2024, a high cost cover of 3k was introduced. The problem is that it only covers costs over SEK 3,300 according to the current reference price, which is then 20-40% lower than the real cost. And furthermore, only 50% is covered. (I might be wrong here, so feel free to correct me.)
