I would say you’ve been heavily scammed
close to x5 i think because almost all of them is cheap af
Why do tourists buy these weird teas? turks just drink black tea
30-35 euro at most. I also high balled. Hahahahahah
İ didn’t even heard these teas before.
💀💀💀
…
wtf is this tea? 😂
Dayı seni büyük sikmişler
These teas are looks weird
Had similar experience in Spain:/
4x, wherever you go don’t buy anything from tourist bazaars
If this is outside of Istanbul, Izmir, Antalya, basically any tourist place, 10x. Otherwise probably 3x or something.
not only scammed you got doland fraudulently abused
You were not scammed, you were robbed
I own a souvenier shop in Turkey, Kusadasi. Not as expensive as Antalya we sell magnets for 3euro each, lighters 2 euro each, Pismaniye 7,5 euro, not sure about the teas, Probably tourist price 10 euro each. So all together 65 euro. You over paid 2.5x i would say realistically. Dont worry about it, should have bargained more
Long live capitalism, thanks to you, my uncle became rich and said that he cheated someone well today.
my brother please…….
i would say you paid like 3x 4x more, but don’t worry you get used to it, cuz we did.
all of them should be 30-35 euros maximum
You got buttfucked with those prices bruh. That shit ain’5 even worth 40 euros
If possible, buy things, food, etc. from places such as tradesmen and markets. If you want to buy it, you can buy it from big markets (like Migros). By the way, they defrauded you a lot. Get well soon. And I heard about these strange teas for the first time in my life.
The stuff is worth like 20 bucks so yeah, this was a terrible deal / a scam. Just go to a regular supermarket because you won’t find anything special in a “bazaar” in Antalya, especially as a tourist. If the money is burning a hole in your pocket, spend it on something actually fun or useful, like a nice cocktail or a memorable dinner, or a boat trip etc. But always be wary of scams as a tourist.
REMINDER:
It is NOT OKAY to accept that a tourist should pay double/triple, or to be grateful that someone was nice enough to scam you only a little bit!!! This attitude will only encourage the scammers and make you feel useless. Have some self respect and nicely tell them to get screwed.
I buy exotic teas regularly and those look fairly exotic. 500g is also a lot of tea for exotic teas, they are usually pre-packaged and sold in 100-200g sizes. I’d say teas alone would be like 30 bucks. The rest would be at most 5-6 bucks. The most expensive thing is the eucalypt tea, sultan tea is basically mix of different herbs, usually pretty cheap. So yeah, you paid about 5 times more for some exotic tea, a small amount of sweets and bunch of cheap junk.
Edit: Bucks = Dolars
That’s not a scam that is a robbery
To not get scammed, don’t buy any food from Bazaar.
You not scammed, robbed.
If I buy online, all of that about 20€ if I go and try to buy them in Antalya from a touristic shop, they would sell me 40-50€ and I am Turk… So if you compare this prices to the online shops you got 7-8x scammed. If you talk about touristic shop price just 3-4x
