Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has thanked US President Joe Biden for his support of Ukraine following Biden’s announcement to drop out of the presidential race.
Zelenskyy said in a social media post, “Many strong decisions have been made in recent years and they will be remembered as bold steps taken by President Biden in response to challenging times.” He added, “we respect today’s tough but strong decision.”
Zelenskyy also said that Ukraine is grateful to Biden for his “unwavering support for Ukraine’s fight for freedom,” along with strong bipartisan support in the United States.
He said that such support has been, and continues to be, critical.
