There’s a solid chance of Trump winning this election. I believe that a lot is on the line if he wins again beyond just the national level.
The three biggest conflicts in contention here are the Russo-Ukraine War, Israel/Gaza conflict, and Taiwan vs. China.
For the Russo-Ukraine War, he flashes that if he’s elected that he’ll immediately curtail the bloodshed and consolidate a peace treaty between the two nations. Personally, I think this is all baloney unless he has some revolutionary blackmail on Putin or Zelensky. What is more likely is that Trump terminates supplying aid to Ukraine and tries to alienate them to dismiss Putin’s war crimes.
For the conflict in Gaza and Taiwan. Trump appears to be full throttle in providing military support for Israel and Taiwan instead of finding an alleyway for peace like he does for Russia and Ukraine.
How does another Trump term impact the political landscape of the rest of the world?
