A long-range Iranian-made drone hit the centre of Tel Aviv in the early hours of Friday in an attack claimed by the Yemen-based Houthi militia that killed one man and wounded four others, the Israeli military and emergency services said.
This is alarming as it was able to bypass the iron done. Small drones are hard to distinguish from rockets. I do not find Houthis claims to be reliable though. Was this likely a Hezbollah operation? We've seen Iran backed milita claim to attack an area and then put the blame on another allied group to cause distraction and redirect war efforts. How likely is Israel to attack the Houthis or will their intelligence just point out that it was in fact Hezbollah? How will Israel retaliate?
