Six foreign nationals found dead in luxury Bangkok hotel Police in Thailand say six foreign nationals have been found dead in a luxury hotel in central Bangkok. They are investigating the cause of the deaths and circumstances surrounding the case.

The police say that the hotel reported the deaths of the six in a room on Tuesday, and that they were male and female in their 30s to 50s and of Vietnamese descent.

The police say two of them carried US passports.

The police say they so far found no noticeable external wounds on the bodies and the room bears no signs of a struggle.

The incident took place in an area where many tourists visit and contains offices and shops. The hotel lobby was thrown into confusion when media personnel and others gathered.

Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin visited the site and was briefed by officers on the incident. He instructed the police to find out what exactly happened as early as possible.
