Hovsep Khurshudyan talks about the need to actually solidify Armenia’s Western shift with actual agreements and alliances on paper.
The more interesting part is on the second part of the interview, where Hovsep talks about the recent arrests of one the Yerevan’s region’s head aka թաղապետ and his aide, by the NSS.
Basically the թաղապետ and his aide, both QP members, and one of their friends/relatives, usurped state land and tried to pass it as private property. Good old tactic, that QP was supposed to have eliminated.
Hovsep talks about how a new competent judge, even orders the land to be returned back to state control, and the order was ignored by the above mentioned two. Even a QP parliamentarian, who recently passed away unfortunately, was involved in getting to the bottom of this, was ignored. Hovsep himself tried to contact the թաղապետ, but was basically not given a chance to talk to him by his aide.
Fortunately NSS got involved, and they got arrested.
Hovsep mentions Avinyan as a possible “roof” for these two, and even suspects the new Anti Corruption Committee investigators being paid off, as they initially said they don’t see anything weird about what happened.

He also mentions how the situation in HayPost got worse, and even more competent people were fired after Hovsep broke the news on the shady shit happening there.
This is so people who constantly take QP’s word as gospel can see what’s going on. Hovsep works closely with the government, and supports their foreign policy. In fact he gets shit from Chibukhchyan and his crew for being an undercover government spokesperson. I don’t think he is one.
I saw people questioning the possibility of current university buildings going to oligarchs. Well, if this is the path QP members have started to take, I think we can see how people think that those “juicy” buildings will end up with a QP connected oligarch.
I am repeating myself, but more and more I am feeling the HHKization of QP. Their tone, their behavior, their treatment of the public, is rapidly going towards that.
