According to my mother who was born in Dali in 1948, this is the Constantinides family house (they came to Dali from Asia Minor after the 1922 destruction) and the upper floor was often rented to teachers who were assigned there. Some ruins still stand today, [here it is on google maps](https://maps.app.goo.gl/QfsZrrdujhKu5DLL8).
