As the 29th anniversary of the genocide approaches, so does the time of relativization, denial and general toxicity. For the above reasons, the following rules will apply in the next three weeks:

  1. Post and comment karma conditions will be elevated for new accounts. This means that the content of new accounts will be filtered and go to the moderators for review before approval.
  2. Ridiculing, approving, justifying, diminishing and denying crimes against humanity is prohibited.
  3. Exploiting genocide to push a personal agenda is prohibited. This especially applies to those users who see genocide as an opportunity to spread their xenophobic and chauvinistic views.
  4. Sharing of subreddit content that violates another rule is prohibited. The same applies to social networks (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, etc.).

Already r/BiH perma bans are mostly given for breaking the second rule, so you know. New accounts do not have the right to appeal and review the ban. For everything else, there is a cooling-off period, the duration of which depends on the severity of the violation and the frequency of the violation. Refrain from hate speech and conduct the discussion in a civilized way. Attack opinions, ideas and criticisms, not other users.

In addition to the stated rules, where some coincide with the existing ones, I would ask you to take a look at the existing rules as well. For those who want to learn about the genocide or learn more about it, below are links to all relevant websites:
