Hello reddit

Does someone KNOW if my Verwaltung can legaly forbid me to use a mobile split air conditioner like this one:

https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s2/product/argo-ulisse-13-dci-eco-40-m-13500-btuh-klimaanlage-12508962?supplier=406802&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Prod_CH_PMAX_Sellout&campaignid=18891926535&adgroupid=&adid=&dgCidg=CjwKCAjwkJm0BhBxEiwAwT1AXL1OKKrMEe34xF-uKFZsfYDa50HZ1JeIaHvYSK7gUolBY97dztGsPRoCUJkQAvD_BwE&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwkJm0BhBxEiwAwT1AXL1OKKrMEe34xF-uKFZsfYDa50HZ1JeIaHvYSK7gUolBY97dztGsPRoCUJkQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

it wouldn’t be mounted so I won’t need a permission (Baubewilligung) but I was wondering if my Verwaltung could still legaly forbid me to use it since the outdoor unit would sit on the window sill and I know that they are very bünzli about the optical impression of the property (Liegenschaft). I know that they can’t say anything against a normal mobile ac with a hose through the window but I’m unsure if they would have the right to forbid an ac that is partially placed on the sill. I THINK they can’t but I was hoping that someone in here maybe KNOWS it for sure. I live in Aargau if that matters. Thanks in advance!

You need to find a way to place the external part safely. That could be a big issue. Then you still need to route the connection between the units without drilling. How loud is the outside unit?
