My mum has a home in paphos and there’s this cat that is always around (I mean ALWAYS). She lives on a residential unit of five other homes and this cat just hangs around. He’s super friendly and really gravitates towards our home within the unit. We’ve had the house three years but it’s likely he’s been around far longer. He’s so so sweet, loves scratches and chilling with us on the terrace in the evening, he sleeps near us when we’re chilling outside and waits for us outside in the mornings.

Is there anything I can do for him? He’s been neutered (shown by the cut out of his ear) but I’m not sure if we should feed him as we’re only here periodically throughout the year, or should just let him be and just show him love while I’m here. He has a few cuts and grazes so I want to just make sure he’s ok.

Kitty pics for tax.

Side note – I fully understand the cat situation in Cyprus currently, there’s a cat sanctuary not far away but they’re so overrun and he’s already been neutered so I’m not sure what else they can offer him.

What a cutie 🥰, you should nourish him and pet him well while you’re there)

Cats are apex predators, and they are super fine without a home. Many ecologists also mention that they shouldn’t be let outside because they destroy the fauna, as they are really good hunters. So, worry about the small birds, crickets, etc. This fluffy killing machine would be able to take care of its own 🙂

Provide shade, food, and water. Notilhing else. He’s use to be outside so he knows how to take care of himself.
