Hi everyone,
I recently moved to Lausanne, and next month is my first wedding anniversary. I want to surprise my husband with a romantic picnic and would love some recommendations for ideal spots. We’re open to locations that are max 2 hours drive from Lausanne, whether it’s up in the mountains or by a lakeside (we were already considering going to Gstaad). Any romantic suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Olten is known for its delightful scenery, amazing weather and beautiful wildlife. I’d try to see around there if i was you !

Oeschinensee is very nice. I would stay overnight in the hotel. The last train leaves at 17.00 and then you have the lake almost to yourself.
