During the past 10 years I have seen all this coming from Israel:
1. Cannot recognise genocide, relations with Turkey are good. Cannot make impact relations negatively.
2. Cannot recognise genocide, relations with Turkey are getting bad. Cannot make it worse.
4. Cannot recognise genocide, relations with Turkey are getting better. Cannot interrupt progress there.
5. Cannot recognise genocide, relations with Turkey are at worst. Cannot make it worse.
6. Cannot recognise genocide, Azerbaijan is going to get angry at us.
7. Cannot recognise genocide until the US recognises it.
8. Cannot recognise genocide, we are selling deadly weapons to Azerbaijan to kill Armenians, sorry, realpolitik, nothing personal. We sell weapons to Myanmar who is committing a genocide right now. Nothing personal. Cannot interrupt business by recognising the genocide.
9. Cannot recognise genocide, Armenia just recognised Palestine – don’t mind that Azerbaijan and Turkey have recognised it a long time before.

I don’t think it would be wrong to say that at this point not a single Armenian would care whether Israel recognizes the genocide or not – in fact many probably prefer Israel not to recognise it – it’s way past too little too late – specially after the nonstop weapons sales to Azerbaijan.
EDIT: And the jpost editorial board can go screw themselves for being one of the main Azerbaijani propagandist media outlets with their monthly opinion pieces publishing Azerbaijani gov propaganda. In fact the only conclusion to make is that they make money from Azerbaijani opinion pieces and then try to “balance” it out by publishing pieces like this to then get more money from Azerbaijani propagandists, rinse and repeat – a shady unethnical abhorrent but working business model.

Years of selling to Azerbaijan weapons with the mindset to make an ally and arm them against Iran, in exchange for gas. Then as Armenia pretty much begs them to stop, they still keep doing it even if those weapons have been far more used against Armenians and barely if at all against Iran. They snub us and increased their rate of sales while they’re fighting their own war. We used to only recognize Israel. The moment we recognized Palestine due to their callous involvement of the genocide of our people, they turn back and threatend Armenia that they would sell more to weapons to Azerbaijan.
I’m no where near a supporter of Hamas, fuck them. But there is in no way those supremacist fascist death-mongering hypocrites will recognize the Armenian genocide any time soon. In fact, they may even more likely to follow through with kicking out the Armenian quarter out of Jerusalem and to become directly hostile towards Armenia.
