The article gives no explanation as to why there is a shift from pure protest politics to a more realist stance, but it’s worth discussing. We do know that the infamous [Russian loan](https://www.politico.eu/article/france-marine-le-pen-national-rally-pays-back-russia-loan/) has been paid back, but nothing more.
