Great-Grandfather’s Service in the Royal Italian Army

Can anyone possibly assist me and provide information on these pictures and this service record for my great-grandfather?

From what I can gather in the document, he served in the 88th Infantry Regiment and the Alessandria Cavalry Regiment. From the group photo, it appears as though he spent time in the Arditi.

Clearly, the document is a duplicate and is not completely filled out, leaving much about his service unknown.

I’ve only recently discovered these items and up until finding them I thought I was the only member of my family I serve in the military. I desperately want to know more.

Can anyone help paint a clearer picture?
