People who don’t follow politics or are not educated in the social/political fields don’t understand how complex society’s issues are.
All they see is that politicians with PHD’s have brought them to this point and are failing to solve serious and fundamental issues.
We failed to give them good options, it was either vote the same old guys and expect the same results or try something new.
You can’t do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result.
By that saying, the people of Cyprus chose the sane option of doing something new in order to expect change.
Improvement is not guaranteed, but they did all they could from their part. They voted for change.
