This was not a ‘let me adjust my balls’ move, this was a ‘let me wank myself over my jeans’ for several minutes.
He was using his bag as a cover, I locked eyes with him and told him to stop, he smiled and stopped… for about 15 seconds, then we was back at it. We were almost arriving at the final destination (Olten, no less).
His attention wasn’t directed at me (F39), he was always looking at the teenage girls in the next 4 seats.
What would be a better way to handle this situation, should it happen next time?
What’s an appropriate German sentence that can be said in a loud voice on a train to make other passengers take notice?
Is this something that would be worth calling the Bahnpolizei over? I mean, I guess it’s not illegal to rub your covered body parts in public…

Take your photo to the police. Cameras on the train, ticket apps etc they may get him. These behaviours tend to escalate so you may save someone from a worse fate.
This would be a sexuelle Belästigung (Art. 198 StGB). If the DA would find some time to track him down, he would get fined. If there was a child around, it would be differently tho.
