Hello,
The question is specific. In early May, I broke my fifth metatarsal. Some time ago, the orthopedist twisted a Samarieza into that bone, because it was difficult to heal. Now I will be wearing an orthopedic shoe for almost two months. What should I do so that the muscles of that leg do not atrophy? Is it possible to use electrical stimulation not on the place where the fracture is, but on the calf or thigh? Have parents bought such a thing? I am attaching a photo. Is it possible to maintain it in some other way? Because muscle tone decreases. I’m not a kitten, but after a month my lower leg and upper part have become like jelly. Various tips on how to behave are relevant so that after everything the rehabilitation is as smooth as possible. Because as far as I understand, walking will have to be relearned anyway.
