Ultimately the blame rests on the Armenian government for this. The state is responsible for pursuing its interests, like lobbying foreign governments. The state cannot outsource lobbying to private organizations that have conflicting interests.
Armenia needs a proper foreign lobbying organization that answers to the ministry of state. ANCA/ARF have completely misidentified the interests of the state and wasted decades of diaspora time/money.

Disappointed to find out that a director of such an organization is so dense and all he does is “ban Turkey”, ” we are the first Chrsitian nation” for so many years, knowing well that no one will ban Turkey and no one cares who was the first to adopt Chrsitianity, which means, this person is just incompetent.

Tbh ANCA should owe loyalty only to the diaspora and the current elected representatives of Armenia

Someone besides the Hamparian brothers should be allowed to lead the ANCA since they both seem to be delusional and act in their own self interests. Who put them in charge anyways?

This guy is a disgrace to everything the ARF historically (though not contemporarily) embodied, fought, and stood for.
A free, independent, democratic Armenia aligned with the West over Turkey and Russia. That was the original ARF, the stalwart policy of the 1918 ARF socialist republic facing threats by two empires.
100 years later and we have a DC nepotist who promotes Turkish talking points, Russian talking points while moistly crapping on the legacy of his institution and the lessons it has learned (ie the Turkey and Russia will sell us out and have our people killed and land stolen).
He has poor self and impulse control with these posts. His inferiors are no better but him and his brother should have long passed the torch to someone whose reputation was not as damaged through rash statements.
Id like ANCA to refrain from making statements about nations unrelated to them.

Free world free speech and all that jazz. I’m from Armenia, born here, don’t plan on living. I do wish people would do more due diligence, but this just makes me not think of ANCA as a serious organization.

I disagree with the statement. At the same time, Pashinyan’s comments last month regarding the Genocide was the ‘last straw’ for many. This seems to have completely gone over the heads of his hardline supporters. He belittled every victim, survivor, their descendants, and validated the feelings of denialists.
Apologists say it’s a political game or whatever to appease Erdogan. I don’t believe that for a second. Nikol can suck up to Erdo by showing up to his election ceremony, sending earthquake aid, or through private channels. But not by repeating denialist B.S. in April to our own people.

Childish. This kind of absurd statements delegitimize ANCA itself. Not that Pashinyan doesn’t deserve criticism while his idiotic policies keep failing, but these kind of statements are just stupid.

It’s sad how I have to unfollow different Armenian news outlets and businesses on social media for example 301am. I’ve enjoyed their style of reporting, but not it’s just pro-kremlin garbage. What I’ve noticed they seem to use a lot of bots on Instagram in comment section. Like someone would say something like “Pashinyan is Turk, Aliev likes him and he’s selling Armenia” and you go into their profile and you see Russian + Armenian flag, 30 followers and 90 following which is a little strange to me. Kremlin is successfully separating us and it sucks.

It’s very simple actually, without conflict in the region and without an enemy, ARF can’t exist. Much like how Aliyev needs Armenians to stay in power.

Fun fact by Ver Media, the executive director of the ANCA is his brother, while Aram, the director, is put as the “highest paid” (but undisclosed) in the ANCA, the second highest paid is his brother that has made 120,000$ this year. So either the same or higher than this number.
246,000$ goes into this families pockets from all the money donated to ANCA
