the current state of the University of Turin. the building is fully occupied and all physical activity has stopped. The building’s electricity and running water are paid for by tuition fees paid by the school’s students and Italian public taxes. The damage to the walls and furniture is permanent and will be repaired again using tax money. If you want to protest peacefully it is your right to do so. But it is not within your rights to impede the right to education of thousands of students, some of whom have left their cities or even countries to come and study here. The saddest thing is that the people who are doing these things will go away without any repercussions and the only harm will be to the students who were unable to receive an education and to the taxpayers. This is not a peaceful protest at all, why is it still allowed to continue? Students have the right to study in their school without being excluded.
