This whole thing is so real. I tried to renew my passport there last year and gave up after first attempt after they were all but you should have made an appointment a month ago – since when that’s a thing and how was I supposed to know??. I had only a week on the island I was like nvm, I’d rather do it via embassy in Sweden (I live in Finland, but embassy here can not do it). Let me tell you, that was the best passport/id experience ever! Nicest people in there we had a great chat, they let me actually have a look at the ID pic they took and allowed retakes. My mind was blown 😀

I NEED THIS… I’m spending 3 weeks in Cyprus just so that I can get my ID and passport. Is this possible? Or do I need ‘messon’?
