Donation for a book about the Daors

My name is Djani Behram and I have a master’s degree in history. My master’s thesis was about the ancient Daors in the eastern Adriatic, which I passed in December 2022. Since December 2023, I have been working on a book about the ancient Daors, which is based on the master’s thesis and further research I did after I passed my master’s.

The publisher of the book is BATHINVS, based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The reviewers are Ivo Dragičević, professor Almir Marić and professor Amra Sačić Beća. The book is almost finished. I received no financial support for this book. It would be nice to receive financial support to pay for English to Bosnian translation, proofreading, book design, ISBN-numbers, book printing and distribution to libraries, especially in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Norway.

The ancient Daorsi of the eastern Adriatic have been researched for more than 100 years, but this will be the first book about them. It is my wish that this book educates people about the history of the old eastern Adriatic and Daorsi. In addition, I hope it will spark discussions on the topic and inspire students of archeology and history to research the topic further.

The book will be published physically and digitally. The digital version will be free and available to everyone at Academia.edu. If there is any money left after I publish the book, I will donate it to the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo.
