I just moved back to Lithuania and I can’t help but see this trend. I’d personally never wear this but that is also because it’s not my style but I also grew up on skinny jeans trend from back in 2010s.

I didn’t see jorts in London let’s say, only here. Was there some influence for it? I’m curious because it’s fascinating how one thing can be cool for 1 generation and the opposite for the other. And it ain’t a taste thing because most teens here wear these.

I’ve seen this style trending on the american tiktok for a while now, so that must be the case.

Every fashion trend comes from skate culture. Wide leg and straight jeans were popular in the skate culture a few years back. Skate culture is the trend setter, more or less.

Jorts, bootcuts and wide leg jeans are super popular in the Uk amongst young people. I guess a lot of it comes from 90s/y2k trends
