Joy of Origins was created to preserve Cyprus’ stories and culture, with my grandmas’ narratives shaping our videos. This limited series showcases their lives through their own words. 💬
The goal was to find Cypriot grandmothers from the five ethnicities of the island, aged above 70, who hold “good” memories of Cyprus before the war. 🌞 I carefully interviewed them, and they graciously shared their stories and cooking wisdom. 🥘
My hope is to keep these stories alive for generations to come. 🕊️💗
