The first round of negotiations between the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia Jeyhun Bayramov and Ararat Mirzoyan ended in Almaty. This is reported by the media.
According to the information, the negotiations lasted four hours and will continue tomorrow.

Azerbaijan and Armenia jointly cleared the relevant areas as part of the border delimitation and clarified the geographical coordinates. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov announced this today in Almaty.
The Foreign Minister noted that the installation of border pillars on the border section is almost completed.
Bayramov also recalled that after the Berlin meeting the parties exchanged comments on the draft peace agreement.
Ararat Mirzoyan, in turn, said that Armenia is aimed at peace, at signing a peace treaty.
“We are involved in the negotiation process very constructively,” he emphasized.
Mirzoyan also noted that the parties should not limit themselves to signing a peace treaty.
“Moreover, we think that we should not limit ourselves to signing a peace treaty, we can go even further: we can unblock all transport communications in the region with the understanding that all transport infrastructures will remain under the sovereignty of those countries through whose territory they pass, and procedures crossing borders on a mutual basis,” summed up the Armenian minister.
I hope Armenia and Azerbaijan will sign peace this year and that both nation will choose friendship and cooperation instead of hostility 🇦🇿🇦🇲
If peace is signed before the end of this year, Russia will be of no importance in the region and I hope that the two countries will close the era of war forever.
