    Trees of Yerevan – This is Awful, and won’t be much better.

    I just cannot imagine the minuscule amount of shade these new trees will not provide for the citizens that will walk during the summer. It’s just gonna be hotter than before because all the natural shade will be gone. These trees will never create a beautiful green canopy over the sidewalks like they used to. I am at a loss of words for what we can do against this…

      What I truly don’t understand is why not plant trees that are somewhat older but already well placed to function. Btw I think there’s supposed to be a protest against this today.

      Tigran Avinyan is objectively the worst mayor I’ve experienced in Yerevan. Even motherfucking Paron Taron Margaryan made less controversial decisions.

      Seems all this city admin is good at is appropriating lands for development.
