I can see this happening to cyprus once lebanon is cleansed from their original population.

Dumb idea.
EU has given billions to turkey, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Niger and others and it hasnt stopped anything. I’m fact Niger kicked the west out, invited Russia in and repealed migration laws.
When this 1B is eaten by corruption, they will ask for more and more so they can do nothing.
Hezbollah (which is like half Lebanese government) is actively involved in prolonging the Syrian war (backed by Iran) and Turkey is also actively involved (and also in Libya). So bizarrely EU is giving the same actors responsible for the root cause of a huge chunk of this illegal migration billions to not fix a problem they are actively causing.

Fuck the EU, the only way out of this mess for us Lebanese is to, unfortunately, facilitate the “refugees” migration to Europe by boat, legally or illegally
