Half a year ago I posted about how the disability insurance does no longer delegate assessments to the company PMEDA because an investigation showed that the vast majority of their assessments have "severe formal and contentual errors".
Now the tides have turned in a grotesque way: The public prosecution departement of the canton of Bern asks the Swiss national council to void the immunity of it’s member Katharina Prelicz-Huber.
Why? Because they want to start criminal proceedings against her for being the reason that the company PMEDA is now ruined.
In other words: because she helped to reveal the flaws of PMEDAs assessments (some would probably say: helped to reveal that PMEDA systematically assessed disabled persons as healthy) she’s now being blamed for the economical ruin of that company.
I ask myself what’s next? The food inspection office is liable for the revenue of the restaurants they had to shut down because of rotten food?
And more importantly: Why are we reading about criminal prosecution of the people who helped to stop that scandal instead of criminal prosecution against those who apparently ruined many lifes with fake-assessments?
Source (German):
Of course there is "presumed innocence" when it comes to the alleged fake assessors and the suspicion that they based their business model on the suffering of disabled persons.

You see we live in a plutocracy. Meaning if you have money laws can bend to your will. That‘s what‘s happening here.
