  1. Another one is this post from a pretty small account commemorating her great-grandparents that survived the genocide, and the amount of hateful responses from Turks is just shocking: https://twitter.com/STatikyan/status/1783046284896584111

Even well-educated Turks working as business executives in France responded to denounce her post as “anti-Turkish”: https://twitter.com/HakanDogu1166/status/1783097747173736571

This man in France, Hakan Dogu, then goes on to say the souls of Armenians are dirty. Genocide denial and public statements of hate are illegal in France – I wonder if he can be prosecuted?

I’m not going to attempt to understand why we often see such hatred from Turks towards Armenians. I’ve never understood it and I’ve never seen anything like it in other parts of the world. They even surpass the hatred you see between Jews and Arabs. But I will say this is something Armenia is probably going to have to grapple with forever, and the Armenian government needs to really tread carefully because Turkey is a country that seems to only show ill will towards Armenians.

  2. A totally degenerate society riddled with hatred and paranoia that cannot exist without zero-sum game dichotomies in which others have to lose everything so Turks can gain. They can be totally devoid of any humanity. I wonder how long this will last before they eventually start eating at themselves.

It is not safe to be an Armenian in fascist countries like Turkey & Russia.

Armenians from both of these countries should repatriate

Oh come. They are just Turks. If you were to take them by their word, they are the meanest and most aggressive people, but in reality they are nicer than even Armenians. But their nationalists are beyond deluded, they seriously need therapy.

  5. Had an opportunity to see comments under r/mapporn post and a lot of deniers are there too

Well one good thing that can come out of this is that it helps us reflect on our own morons who rejoice when regular Turks suffer and publicly shame our nation online. Yeah I know that it doesn’t mean anything on the grand scheme of things, but it shows how we are driven by emotions rather than logic.
