Not all Kurds sadly, but my family were recorded to have protected Armenians from the Ottoman massacres that led to the genocide. We, along with other Kurdish groups were relocated for being rebellious into Central Anatolia to be assimilated with Turkish muslims… Those were very dark and sad times, but it’s nice knowing my ancestors might have been a beacon of light during these times for some Anatolian Armenians and didn’t join, but instead resisted the Turko-Ottomans. May the brotherhood of the conscious peoples regardless of religion or ideology all around the world be everlasting, may the souls of the people that have lost their life in this period rest in peace. It is no justice but at the very least it has to be a lesson to what CAN NOT happen again in the future.
