Barça knows no frontiers and that was evident at last week’s football campus in Kosovo, attended by more than 300 children from the host country, and also Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania and Serbia. The event featured coached trained in Barcelona who taught the attendees how to play the game the Barça way. These soccer camps, which are being exported worldwide, are all about spreading the club”s famous philosophy and values around the planet.
Huge expectation
Barça’s presence in Kosovo did not go unnoticed, and even the national president Vjosa Osmani, made a point of stopping by at the Kosovar Football Federation’s training grounds to see how the youngsters were progressing. She was joined by the mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama. The campus is supported by the UEFA Foundation and the United Nations, who have been doing their utmost to support the local players.
