RAYMOND (WGME) — Three people are dead after a crash in Raymond Wednesday morning.

Investigators say the crash involved a reckless driver.

The crash happened on Egypt Road around 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Investigators say their initial investigation found 56-year-old Gregory Logue of Windham had been driving a pickup truck erratically.

Police say he passed a vehicle and then went off the road. When he drove back on to the roadway, he crossed the center line and crashed head-on into an SUV.

Inside that SUV were 80-year-old Tamara Harmon and 80-year-old Arthur Harmon, both from Raymond.

All three involved in the crash were killed.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says the crash is still under investigation.

“Our crash reconstruction team is working on the absolute causation factors, which we don’t have yet, early indications are that the Frontier pickup truck may have been operating erratically, crossed the center line and evidence at the scene would substantiate that, and struck the Subaru Crosstrek head on,” Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Detective Lieutenant Jim Estabrook said.

Egypt Road was closed for several hours but has since re-opened to traffic.
