Vice President Kamala Harris was called a “war criminal” by a protester blowing a whistle Wednesday — as her third campaign event in under 24 hours was disrupted by anti-Israel activists.
Harris, 60, at one point reprimanded activists opposed to Israel’s invasion of the Gaza Strip — telling them “right now I am speaking!” as her afternoon rally in Harrisburg, Pa., went off the rails.
“We are six days out from an election. We are six days away from an election, and ours is about the fight for democracy and your right to be heard,” the veep said after a bout of antiwar chants.

“Everyone has the right to be heard, but right now I am speaking!” she said to wild applause, repeating a line that she initially deployed in August.
Not long after, another protester blew a whistle and shouted in a loud voice: “You’re a war criminal!”
“We love our democracy. It can be complicated at times, but it’s the best system in the world,” Harris responded.
Earlier in the day, during an event in Raleigh, NC, a man interrupted Harris by shouting, “Kamala Harris, you have disrespected the Palestinian community!”
The back-to-back interruptions followed havoc wreaked by Gaza protesters at Harris’ large Tuesday night closing appeal to voters at the Ellipse in Washington DC.
For several minutes as Harris spoke, a siren noise was blared by unseen activists, creating a disconcerting din.
After Harris finished speaking, many of the Democrat’s supporters resorted to climbing over anti-riot fencing to leave the park after demonstrators forced police to shut down the official exit.
The uptick in heckling against Harris indicates greater organization in the final stretch of the campaign — as Green Party candidate Jill Stein and independent candidate Cornel West appeal to antiwar voters.
Harris until now drew much less heckling over the conflict than retiring President Biden, who was forced to dramatically alter his public exposure after being persistently heckled with the nickname “Genocide Joe.”
