Much Moore Entertainment hosting benefit concert for Helene relief

THE TRIAD CONTINUES TO BAND TOGETHER FOR COMMUNITIES IN WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA. STILL PICKING UP THE PIECES AFTER STORM DAMAGE AND LOSS. THERE WERE A COUPLE OF RELIEF CONCERTS OVER THE WEEKEND, BUT YOU STILL HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE TO ATTEND. ONE COMING UP HERE. JOINING US LIVE NOW, WE HAVE ETHAN EVERHART TO TALK ABOUT A BENEFIT CONCERT FOR HURRICANE VICTIMS COMING UP ON NOVEMBER 17TH AND EDEN. HE IS THE CO-MANAGER AND AUDIO ENGINEER AT MUCH MORE ENTERTAINMENT. THANK YOU FOR BEING WITH US. THANK YOU FOR HAVING ME. WELL, FIRST TELL US, HOW DID THIS COME TOGETHER? IT’S ONLY BEEN ONE MONTH SINCE THE STORM. YEAH, SO PRETTY MUCH RIGHT AFTER THE STORM HIT OUR OWNER, STAN SEGAL, HE HAPPENED TO SEE A FACEBOOK POST ABOUT, YOU KNOW, ASKING FOR MUSICIANS AROUND NORTH CAROLINA TO COME TOGETHER AND SEEING THAT WE HAVE, YOU KNOW, A PRETTY WIDE ARRAY OF OF BANDS THAT WE REPRESENT, WE WERE LIKE, OKAY, WE CAN WE CAN DO THIS. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT’S THAT’S POSSIBLE. SO WE GOT TOGETHER ALL THE BANDS THAT WERE AT LEAST AVAILABLE ON THAT DAY AND THAT WERE WILLING TO DONATE ALL THEIR TIME AND GOT OUR CONTACT WITH THE RIGHT MEMORIAL EVENT CENTER. JEFF. RIGHT, TO HOST THE EVENT. AND I GUESS THE REST IS HISTORY. WELL, TELL US ABOUT THE BANDS PERFORMING AND WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC WILL BE AT THE CONCERT. YEAH, ABSOLUTELY. SO WE’RE GOING TO BE PRIMARILY BEACH MUSIC THERE. SO IF YOU LOVE BEACH MUSIC, THAT’S THIS IS GOING TO BE THE PLACE FOR YOU. BUT WE’LL ALSO HAVE THE MOTOWN LEGACY REVUE, WHICH IS OBVIOUSLY MOTOWN MUSIC. BUT ALONG WITH THEM, WE GOT THE ORIGINALS, WE GOT THE CATALINAS, WE GOT THE EMBERS FEATURING CRAIG WILLARD, WE GOT TIM JOHNSON IS ACTUALLY COMING OUT OF RETIREMENT. HE’S FORMERLY OF THE BAND OF OZ. JUST FOR THIS EVENT. AND EVERYTHING’S EMCEED BY DJ TIM JOHNSON. THESE ARE REALLY GREAT ACTS. OF COURSE, THE THE EMBERS AND THE CATALINAS ARE BOTH NORTH CAROLINA MUSIC HALL OF FAME MEMBERS. THE ORIGINAL THE ORIGINALS ARE BEACH MUSIC HALL OF FAME MEMBERS, SO A LOT OF TALENTED MUSICIANS ARE GOING TO BE HERE AT THIS EVENT. A WAY TO EXTEND THE SUMMER A LITTLE BIT WITH SOME BEACH MUSIC. LOVE THAT. SO WHAT ORGANIZATION DID YOU DECIDE THESE FUNDS WOULD BE GOING TO IN ORDER TO SUPPORT THOSE IMPACTED BY HELENE? YEAH, SO WE CHOSE SAMARITAN’S PURSE AS WELL AS CAMP GREER. CAMP GREER HAS BEEN HOSTING A LOT OF VICTIMS THAT ARE OUT OF HOUSING AND SO ON. AND SO FORTH. AND SAMARITAN’S PURSE IS JUST DOING A LOT OF HANDS ON WORK IN THE AREA. OF COURSE, WE THOUGHT THOSE WOULD BE THE BEST TWO PLACES TO DONATE THE MONEY TO. OKAY. AND THAT WILL BE ALL THE TICKET PROCEEDS. IS THAT RIGHT? ALL THE TICKET PROCEEDS, ALL THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE SALES, ANY DONATIONS THAT THAT ACCUMULATE AS WELL, ALL GO GOES TO THEM. WONDERFUL. AND LASTLY, WHAT ARE YOU HOPING PEOPLE TAKE AWAY FROM THIS BENEFIT CONCERT AND REALLY FEELING LIKE THEY’RE HELPING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE? WELL, FIRST AND FOREMOST, I JUST HOPE THEY HAVE A GOOD TIME. THE MUSIC IS GOING TO BE REALLY GOOD. IT’S GOING TO BE HAVE SOME GOOD FOOD, GOOD PEOPLE, YOU KNOW, AND BEYOND JUST THE GOOD TIME AS WELL. I JUST HOPE THAT THEY FEEL THAT THEY’VE TAKEN A PART OF SOMETHING THAT THAT IS GOING TO HELP A GREATER CAUSE. WELL, WE HOPE THAT COMES ACROSS AS WELL. AND IT SEEMS LIKE IT WILL WITH YOUR MESSAGING. SO THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME THIS MORNING. AND EVERYONE AT HOME. THIS CONCERT IS SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 17TH AT THE WRIGHT MEMORIAL EVENT CENTER IN EDEN, AND WE’LL HAVE THE DIRECT LINK TO PURCHASE TICKETS ON OUR WEBSITE LATER THIS MORNING. THAT IS TRIAD CW DOT COM, AND THIS FULL INTERVIE
