In Nicosia, university students, educational institutions, and schools participated in a grand parade, carrying banners, along with the Cypriot and Greek flags.
The parade featured veterans, students from secondary schools and universities, Scouts, and representatives from local clubs and organizations.
At 11 a.m., President Nikos Christodoulides, alongside Education Minister, Sports and Youth officials, Greek Ambassador to Cyprus Ioannis Papameletiou, and other political and military leaders, presided over the event outside the Greek Embassy, receiving the official salute.
