The best performers of the session on the were ArcelorMittal SA (AS:), which rose 3.37% or 0.75 points to trade at 22.98 at the close. Meanwhile, Adyen NV (AS:) added 2.29% or 32.40 points to end at 1,450.00 and ASR Nederland NV (AS:) was up 1.57% or 0.69 points to 44.75 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Koninklijke Philips NV (AS:), which fell 16.86% or 4.97 points to trade at 24.51 at the close. Shell PLC (AS:) declined 1.36% or 0.42 points to end at 30.50 and ASML Holding NV (AS:) was down 1.30% or 8.60 points to 655.50.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 53 to 49 and 7 ended unchanged.

The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 5.66% or 4.06 to $67.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 5.58% or 4.22 to hit $71.41 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.25 to trade at $2,754.35 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.23% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.16% to 0.83.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.00% at 104.13.
