Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Monday hosted his Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orbán, who has arrived in Georgia on an official visit, along with the visiting delegation, at an official dinner, the Government Administration said.

The visiting official and his delegation were welcomed by Levan Davitashvili, the First Vice Prime Minister and Economy Minister of Georgia, Tamara Liluashvili, the Ambassador of Georgia to Hungary, and Anna Maria Shiko, the Hungarian Ambassador to Georgia, at Tbilisi International Airport in the country’s capital.

An official welcoming ceremony of the PM of Hungary, which holds the presidency of the Council of the EU, will be hosted at the Government’s Administration on Tuesday.

The visit will also involve face-to-face and extended meetings between Orbán and his Georgian counterpart Irakli Kobakhidze, to be followed by their joint statements for the media, the Georgian Government press office said on Sunday.

The visiting delegation will also include Peter Szijjártó, the Foreign Minister of Hungary, Márton Nagy, the Minister for National Economy, Mihály Varga, the Minister of Finance, János Máté, the State Secretary,  and other officials.
