Enniskillen has been named the place with the cheapest pints in Northern Ireland.
According to new research by hospitality experts Alliance Online, the average cost of a pint of beer in the UK is £5.17, however, this can differ depending on what city or town you are in.
Enniskillen has been named the place in Northern Ireland with the cheapest pints, with beer drinkers being able to get a pint for around £3.80.
The study also found that Newry is the second cheapest place for a pint in Northern Ireland, with the average pint costing £4.20.
The third cheapest place for a pint in Northern Ireland is Armagh, where the average pint costs £4.80.
Rachael Kiss from Alliance Online said: “Our study shows that customers can still very much get a bargain beer if they look for one, with the cost of a pint varying depending on where you live in the UK.
“We were surprised to see such low prices in unexpected places that have well-reviewed local pubs.
“This is good news for locals and tourists alike.”
But the study has also found the importance of clean beer lines, as contaminated beer lines can alter the taste of beer.
Ms Kiss added: “It is worth noting that no matter how cheap establishments price their beer, cleanliness of beer lines should remain a top priority.
“This is because not cleaning beer lines properly could risk a poor food hygiene rating from the Food Standards Agency.”
