Four projects selected for funding through Canada-Northern Ireland incentive

Northern Ireland Screen and The Canada Media Fund have announced the four projects selected for funding through the Canada-Northern Ireland Co-Development Incentive for Audiovisual Projects.
Shinawil NI Ltd and Sphere Media will develop a TV comedy drama series, Now You’re Flying. Suresh struggles with long-term, unresolved grief. One drunken night he e-buys a foreclosed local pub in a tiny coastal village in Ireland and within days finds himself at odds with a fading community fighting for their home.
Flickerpix and Sphere Media are developing a pre-school 2D animated series Mort and Millie. Mort is an excitable and soft-hearted rookie Grim Sweeper, and his sidekick, Millie, a fearless and no-nonsense millipede, and together they learn about the life cycles of all kinds of living things and work together to creatively overcome the weird but relatable problems that pop up in life.
Salt Stone Studios and Sunset Visitor are developing Revenge for Dummies, a short narrative game, based on the history of faith healing, both in Ireland, and in Canada, heavily influenced by the works of James Randi, the magician and mystic-skeptic.
Brain and Nerd and Red Meat Games Inc. are developing Fairytale Trails, a location based Augmented Reality video game for mobile phones that lets people explore the rich culture and history of fairies.
