There are only eight days until Election Day, and you can expect long lines in the final days of early voting.

The race is tight, with the latest NBC poll showing former President Donald Trump at 48% and Vice President Kamala Harris at 46%.

Candidates only have a week left to pitch their policies to voters.

The North Carolina State Board of Elections has 22 early voting sites. The board said they’ve had record voter turnout at every location.

Voters have until 3 p.m. Saturday to cast an early ballot.

To help make this process smoother, Wake County has created a wait-time tracker and interactive map. This allows voters to see which early voting location is closest to them with the shortest wait times.

You can find that wait time tracker at wake.gov. You can also find the polling sites closest to you at wake.gov.
